Samsung Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro and S27 Ultra RAM and storage options leaked

A few days ago, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ would use LPDDR5X memory instead of LPDDR6. Today, a new rumor is circulating from Korea: The company still plans to equip the Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.1 storage. However, it’s possible that only one or more of the higher-end RAM/storage variants will receive this hardware, while the more affordable models will miss out.

On the other hand, it seems pretty clear that the S27 and S27+ won’t get the latest memory technology. The same source also provides us with the presumed RAM and storage configurations for the entire Galaxy S27 series:
| Galaxy S27 Ultra | Galaxy S27 Pro | Galaxy S27/27+ |
|---|---|---|
| 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage | 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage | 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage |
| 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage | 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage | 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage |
| 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage | 12 GB RAM + 1 TB storage |
Apart from the fact that the base model is now finally available with 256 GB of storage, there are no real innovations here.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro / Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S27+ and the Galaxy S27 Ultra offer exactly the same options as their predecessors, while the Pro, although it adopts the 1TB option of the Ultra, inexplicably combines it with only 12GB of RAM, even though it is supposed to be the smaller Ultra.
However, this is currently only an unconfirmed leak, so this rumor should be treated with caution. Furthermore, a recent certification in China has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will have a 5,200 mAh battery and the Galaxy S27 Ultra a 5,700 mAh battery, both supporting 60-watt fast charging. Samsung is also already working on a NextGen OLED display.
