While fans have had mixed feelings about the Star Wars films and series in recent years, they generally agree that Star Wars video games are currently very successful. In 2026, two of the best Star Wars games were released within just six weeks of each other: Star Wars Zero Company and Star Wars: Galactic Racer. Both received excellent reviews, and Galactic Racer, with a Metascore of 88 on Metacritic, is among the top five Star Wars games of all time.

If you’re curious about all the hype and have an Amazon Prime membership, you’re in luck: Star Wars: Galactic Racer is now playable via Amazon’s cloud gaming service, Luna. You can try out the single-player campaign as well as the Arcade and Scenario modes. Arcade races are fast-paced and challenging, while Scenario races offer different vehicle types, rules, and characters than the campaign.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is free in single-player mode only

The press release only mentions the single-player modes as playable. This means you’ll need to purchase Galactic Racer if you want to compete online against others. Star Wars: Galactic Racer is available on Amazon Luna alongside Star Wars Outlaws. Subscribers can also still claim September’s free games, including Doom and High on Life.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a roguelike-style racing game where you fight your way through the Galactic League, an underground racetrack where the probability of blowing up is just as high as the probability of being the first to cross the finish line.

Galactic Racer is available now for PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X.
