The Honor Win series, which currently includes the Win, Win RT, and Win Turbo smartphones, is being expanded with a new tablet. The company has already revealed some details about the upcoming Honor Win Pad and offered a first look at its design. The Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT are also about to be launched.

Honor Win Pad with OLED display and built-in fan

Lin Lin, head of Honor China’s Smart Life division, shared a first teaser of the Honor Win Pad on Weibo, offering a glimpse of its back design. The image shows a square camera module with the Win logo on the back.

The manager also confirmed that the Honor Win Pad will have a built-in fan and revealed in the comments on the post that the tablet will have an OLED display and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Furthermore, the Honor Win Pad will not support cellular connectivity and will only offer a single USB Type-C port. Pre-orders for the Honor tablet are currently available on JD.com and Tmall. Honor is expected to release further details about the new tablet in the coming days.

Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT receive certification

According to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming Honor smartphones Win 2 and Win 2 RT have just been certified for sale in China. The Honor Win 2 supports 100-watt wired charging, while the Win 2 RT supports up to 90 watts. This would actually be a downgrade for the cheaper Honor phone, as the original Win RT also supported 100-watt wired charging.

DCS claims that the Honor Win 2 will be the only smartphone to be launched this year that combines Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset with a battery of over 10,000 mAh, a powerful built-in fan and a display with an ultra-high refresh rate and “2K” resolution.

The Honor Win and Win RT were officially unveiled last December, but given the increasing number of new smartphone launches in China this year, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Win 2 and Win 2 RT were presented earlier.

According to earlier rumors, the Win 2 will feature a 6.89-inch OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and an integrated ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Win 2 RT is rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
