Oppo A7 Pro unveiled with 8,000 mAh battery

The Oppo A7 Pro is finally here, following the early August unveiling of the A7 Pro Max. The A7 Pro will be available in China starting September 11th. The company is now accepting pre-orders and has also revealed the technical specifications and price.

The Oppo A7 Pro features a 6.57-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2372 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. It’s equipped with a 50MP main camera (f/1.9 aperture), an 8MP front camera (f/2.1 aperture), and an 8000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Notably, Oppo claims the battery will last an impressive 2000 full charge cycles before its capacity drops below 80%.

The Oppo smartphone runs ColorOS 16 based on the older Android 16 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. It also features 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is dustproof and waterproof according to IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards and measures 159.08 x 75.81 x 8.8 mm, weighing 205 g.
The Oppo A7 Pro is already available for pre-order: The version with 6 GB RAM costs 2,199 CNY (282 Euro/327 US Dollar), the model with 8 GB RAM costs 2,499 CNY (320 Euro/372 US Dollar).
