In August, Google Australia inadvertently revealed an upcoming Fitbit device in official promotional images during the Pixel 11 series launch. Now, a new report has revealed the design and key features of the product, which is rumored to be called the Fitbit Edge.

The report claims that Google will unveil the Fitbit Edge this month, positioning it between the Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 5. According to the report, the fitness tracker will be the successor to the Fitbit Charge 6 and will feature an oval touchscreen, GPS, and a battery life of up to 7 days.

It will also offer limited app support for applications such as YouTube Music and Google Maps.

Fitbit Edge in five colors

The Fitbit Edge is expected to be available in five colors, including three shades that match the Google Pixel 11 Pro. The fitness tracker is reportedly priced between $149 and $199.

While the display offers fewer features than the Pixel Watch, it does at least show notifications. It also includes GPS tracking, automatic activity detection, and altimeter.

Leaked images show a button on the right side and a sensor array on the back that appears to be somewhat more advanced than the Fitbit Air’s sensors. It also apparently features a fingerprint-based wristband swapping system.

An advertising image also reveals that Google’s upcoming Fitbit fitness tracker will be compatible with both Android and iOS.
