Apple iPhone Duo displays document preview in two-page layout
The Quick Look feature of the Apple iPhone Duo appears to offer a two-page layout option when the foldable device is held in open book orientation. This is according to a new discovery by the code explorer pdfu.
A video clip split across the screen (X) shows a preview of an Apple Style Guide document that spans both halves of the unfolded iPhone. The successive pages are displayed side-by-side like a double-page spread. When navigating the document, the Quick View on the right provides search, markup, and sharing functions.
Apple iPhone Duo with iOS 27 multitasking
This layout would make Quick Look the latest feature to take full advantage of the iPhone Duo’s widescreen display. Apple has already detailed how iOS 27 adapts the user interface to the device, including angle-dependent layouts and side-by-side multitasking.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo will be available starting Friday, October 16, at 5 a.m. Pacific Time; availability will begin on Friday, October 23.
