The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra still don't exactly set the world on fire in terms of battery life, but at least a small upgrade is expected.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra have just been certified by 3C for sale in China. This confirms that both models, just like this year’s Galaxy S26 Ultra, support 60-watt wired charging.

While nothing has changed here, there is an interesting development regarding battery capacity. 3C has apparently also certified the batteries of both devices, and the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s battery is listed at 5,534 mAh. This will most likely result in a typical advertised capacity of 5,700 mAh – a full 700 mAh more than the previous model.

The nominal battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is 5,087 mAh, with the typical capacity expected to be 5,200 mAh. Despite its smaller size, the S27 Pro therefore has a larger battery than the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

This is of course very good news, as Samsung has been lagging behind its Chinese competitors in terms of battery capacity for quite some time. Furthermore, there are also developments regarding the camera setup.
