The Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max already completed various certifications worldwide and are therefore very close to launch. Today, the Pro model was discovered in the Geekbench online database, as a prototype has run the benchmark test. As you can see from the screenshot below, it achieved 1,708 points in the single-core test and 6,297 points in the multi-core test.

It is powered by the recently introduced MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, as the benchmark entry confirms. The prototype that ran the benchmark was equipped with 12 GB of RAM, but Poco could of course offer further memory options at launch.

Poco X8 Pro with HyperOS 3 and 6,500 mAh battery

The smartphone is expected to run Android 16 from the start, undoubtedly with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 as its user interface. According to a previous leak, the Poco X8 Pro will have a 6,500 mAh battery. Earlier rumors suggested that the device was a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 for international markets.

If this is true, then the Poco X8 Pro will be based on a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1268 x 2756 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 3840 Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits.

In addition to a 50MP main camera with OIS, there’s also an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 20MP selfie camera. It comes with either 256 or 512GB of storage. Furthermore, there has already been a leak regarding the prices in Europe.
