vivo X500 Pro Max spotted in Geekbench test before its release

vivo has already confirmed that the X500 series will launch in China next month. Ahead of the official launch, a vivo smartphone, presumably the top-of-the-line vivo X500 Pro Max, has now been spotted in a Geekbench test.

The vivo X500 Pro Max, model number V2610, has been listed on the Geekbench website. The smartphone is equipped with a Mediatek MT6995 chipset with 8 cores and a base frequency of 3.10 GHz.

The chipset features two Prime cores with an extremely fast 4.55 GHz clock speed, three cores at 4.35 GHz, and three more at 3.10 GHz. It also comes equipped with 12 GB of RAM and Android 17 as the operating system.

In benchmark tests, the vivo smartphone achieved 2,574 points in the single-core test and 7,756 points in the multi-core test. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the chipset could be the yet-to-be-released MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro. If this is true, the actual performance should be significantly higher. It’s possible this was an initial test with underclocked cores.
Vivo itself has already confirmed that the X500 Pro Max will be equipped with a custom-made Sony Phantom 900 camera sensor with 3° optical image stabilization.
