Poco X8 and X8 Power marketing materials and battery details leaked

A tipster on X has shared alleged marketing material for both the Poco X8 and the highly anticipated X8 Power. These appear to be rebranded models. More specifically, the X8 looks like a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro, and the X8 Power could be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. There are a few, but very minor, differences.

According to the promotional images, the X8 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It also includes a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 16 MP selfie camera, and a 9,000 mAh battery with support for 67-watt fast charging and 22.5-watt reverse wired charging.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. It is dustproof and waterproof according to IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K standards, and according to the leak, Poco promises four major operating system upgrades as well as six years of security updates.
Poco X8 Power
The Poco X8 Power features the same display, which, according to a second leak, also boasts a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. The main camera is identical as well, but is accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 32 MP selfie camera. The battery has a capacity of 10,000 mAh and supports 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging, which is also confirmed by the second source.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip, which Xiaomi combines with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The protection rating (water and dust resistance) and software support are identical.
According to the initial source of this leak, the Poco X8 and X8 Power are slated for release in India “at the beginning of September,” meaning they will definitely be available soon. Furthermore, both are reportedly cheaper than the X8 Pro.
