Apple iPhone Ultra: Fake red images and concept video surface
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has questioned the authenticity of the Apple iPhone Ultra renderings published on X by the usually reliable leaker Evan Blass. The images show the as-yet-unreleased foldable iPhone not only in the rumored colors space gray and white, but also in a striking red.
“I heard these renderings are from Xiaomi,” Gurman wrote in a comment on Blass’s post. “This isn’t an official look at the foldable iPhone, which doesn’t even come in red or green. These are just renderings that Xiaomi created for some reason. Moving on.”

Apple is reportedly planning to forgo the classic Space Gray/Black and Silver/White color schemes for its foldable, book-style iPhone and instead opt for more striking colors. According to one rumor, the darker color will be more of an indigo shade than black.
Another rumor suggests that there might not be a black version at all.

Furthermore, a new fan-made concept video of the Apple iPhone Ultra has surfaced online, weeks before the company is expected to unveil the device at its annual fall keynote.
Apple is holding its annual iPhone event on Wednesday, September 9, at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. There, the company is expected to unveil the first foldable iPhone as well as the two new iPhone 18 Pro models. According to recent leaks, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will offer nearly 20% more performance and 30% less power consumption thanks to the new A20 Pro chipset, but will also be more expensive.
Since the A20 Pro will also be used in the Apple iPhone Ultra, its performance and energy-saving potential should also apply to the new foldable device. The event begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. This year, Apple is using the slogan “Surprise and Shine” for its fall event.
