vivo OriginOS 6 is here. The launch of the operating system was a key part of the vivo Developer Conference 2025, where BlueOS 3.0 and CarLink 3.0 were also unveiled.
vivo OriginOS 6 brings a new design that, according to Vivo, appears more spatial and layered. Elements have a 3D effect and appear physically above and below other visual elements thanks to shadows and a translucent effect, similar to Apple’s Liquid Glass look on iOS 26.
The animations have been extensively improved with a new motion effects curve, and details have been refined to provide the most natural and intuitive interactive experience possible.
OriginOS 6 features a new icon design inspired by the textured icons of the vivo X Fold5. They have been redesigned with overlays of light and shadow to create a more three-dimensional feel.

OriginOS 6 was first unveiled in China, but won’t be unveiled worldwide until October 15th. The upcoming vivo X300 and iQOO 15 series will debut with OriginOS 6.
Vivo has announced that it will launch the OriginOS 6 public beta in November and has released a comprehensive list of which devices will receive OriginOS 6 and when. The first phones to receive OriginOS 6 are the vivo X Fold5, the vivo X200 series, as well as the iQOO 13 and iQOO Neo10 series in November.
