The Samsung Galaxy F56 was introduced back in May. Now the smartphone has finally appeared in the first teardown video. This is exciting because disassembly videos of mid-range devices don’t appear that often. Although the twin model, the Samsung Galaxy A56, is the company’s top seller.

As usual, we open the Samsung Galaxy F56 from the back and remove the glass cover. We then have to loosen numerous screws. The frame is made of plastic, the connectors have rubber seals, and the battery can be removed by removing a large amount of adhesive.

The F56 received a repairability score of 9 out of 10, with 10 being the best and 0 being the worst. It received top marks for spare parts availability, ease of battery replacement, and replacement of other parts such as the charging port. It received only 1.5 out of 2 points in two categories: organization and time required for repairs, and ease of screen replacement.

If the internals had been better organized and the screen easier to replace, the Samsung phone would have achieved full marks, which is very rare. The last extremely highly rated device was the Fairphone 6 thanks to its sustainable design.
