Realme P4 series: Influencer video and Geekbench test
The last P-series smartphone Realme launched was the P3 Ultra, which was unveiled in March. Now the Chinese brand is preparing a new P-series smartphone and has already launched its advertising campaign. The Realme P4 is getting ready.

Realme has released a short video clip featuring Indian YouTubers and influencers on X, sharing their impressions of the upcoming P series’ performance, including BGMI gameplay.
Whether the Realme P4 is really as impressive as people claim, or if they’re following the script provided by Realme as part of a paid collaboration, remains to be seen. However, the X article is titled “HYPER-VISION: ACTIVATED.” Although the name of the smartphone is not mentioned, the URL of Realme’s promo page on its Indian website reveals that it is the P4 series.
There is no official confirmation as to how many Realme P4 smartphones will be launched or what the individual models will be called. However, we know that the target audience will be young users, as the banner on the promo page reads “The Choice of the Youth.”
While we await further details on the Realme P4 series, a Realme device with model code RMX5116 has appeared on Geekbench, which is expected to be one of the P4 series smartphones. On board was a mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which didn’t set any records even with 12 GB of RAM and Android 15 – only 1,216 single-core and 3,533 multi-core points were achieved.
Realme promises 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security patches for some models
Francis Wong, Head of Product Marketing at Realme, also announced a new software update policy. The Realme 14 Pro+, 14 Pro, 14T, 15, and 15 Pro models will each receive three major Android updates and four years of security patches.
All future Realme smartphones from the „Number“, „Number Pro“ and “Number T” receive the same update promise. This is, of course, a far cry from what Samsung offers for its mid-range models, but still better than nothing.
Realme, however, has not released any new information regarding updates for its flagship GT models and its lower-priced devices. It is also unclear how often the aforementioned Number series devices receive security patches – monthly, every two months, quarterly, etc.
