Xiaomi’s upcoming large tablet has been fully unveiled ahead of its release and has even been disassembled and subjected to Geekbench testing. The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 was examined by WekiHome, who completely disassembled it, and by popular Weibo leakster Digital Chat Station, who posted images and gaming tests of the device. Xiaomi also published official press images of the tablet on Weibo and confirmed some specifications.

On the back of the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is a single camera, flanked by the XRING logo. The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP (f/2.2) and a 1/3.6-inch OV32D sensor, while the rear camera has a resolution of 50 MP (f/1.8) and a 1/2.76-inch SKJN1 sensor. The tablet is made of metal and is very thin at 5.8 mm. Accordingly, it only weighs 576 g.

The display is a massive 12.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3,200 x 2,136 pixels. The maximum refresh rate is 144 Hz. WekiHome measured a brightness of 584 nits during normal operation and 827 nits at peak.

The tablet has a 10,610 mAh battery with the support for Xiaomis 120 watt hypercharge. It also supports a 7.5 W rear-wing function for emergencies. The performance is excellent how the tests of Wekihome and DCS prove. The tablet was able to perform for 7 hours and 18 minutes at maximum settings and maintain 60 fps.

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 has a floating keyboard with an adjustable stand and glass touchpad, similar to the Magic Keyboard from Apple. Xiaomi will also offer it with a pen.

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro: Geekbench test reveals Xring O1-chipset

In addition, the PAD 7S Pro 12.5 is also brought to Xiaomis self-developed chipset, the XRing O1, as a new geekbench test. The XRing O1 celebrated its debut in the smartphone Xiaomi 15s Pro, that came to market together with the tablet Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra.

The tested Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro had 16 GB of RAM and Android 15 in addition to the Xring O1. No further specifications have been announced so far, but since the Xiaomi 15S Pro is essentially just a Xiaomi 15 Pro with the Xring O1, the Pad 7S Pro could be a Pad 7 Pro with the new chipset.

In addition, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 will have up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.1 memory from Samsung under the hood. The tablet will soon appear and will probably be available in four colors: beige, blue, black and purple.
