Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: Benchmark test with Exynos 2400

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been the subject of various leaks ahead of its expected global debut in October. One of the most exciting aspects is of course the heart of the device – the chipset. Previous rumors suggested that Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400e chipset would be the powerhouse. The latest Geekbench test has confirmed these reports again today. The phone appeared on the benchmarking platform with an underclocked Exynos 2400 chip.


However, this change only seems to affect the main Cortex-X4 core, which ran at 3.11 GHz instead of 3.2 GHz. The other clusters remain the same, so the performance difference may not be that big. And although the multi-core and single-core results are significantly lower than the original Exynos 2400, this could be due to the pre-production model of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE tested.
The date of a global launch in October comes from the Korean website ETNews. Also included was a date for the Galaxy A16, which will be released in December, as well as several technical specifications. According to this, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be launched with One UI 6.1.1 and a 4,565 mAh battery.
The Samsung smartphone will be waterproof and have a 6.7-inch FullHD+ 120 Hz display with 1,900 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The screen also contains a centered punch hole for the 10 MP selfie camera. There are three cameras on the back – a 50 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and an 8 MP telephoto lens with three times optical zoom.
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be launched in yellow, silver/white, graphite, green and blue. Two other colors are available exclusively from the Samsung website.
