The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold was released last week and was sold out in South Korea within minutes. Those who missed out the first time now get a second chance – the local newspaper “The Chosun“ quotes insiders who report that Samsung will be able to deliver again in a few days.

According to the report, new devices will be available in the Samsung.com online shop starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. However, it’s likely they’ll sell out just as quickly. So if you want one, you should act fast – it’s estimated that only 3,000 TriFolds are reserved for the domestic market.

Some brick-and-mortar stores will also receive an additional shipment (presumably at the same time). Which stores these will be is still unclear. At its launch on the 12th, the new tri-fold smartphone was available in 20 stores across Korea.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold in high demand on the black market

As usual, black market dealers are making the situation worse. The Galaxy Z TriFold was sold for 3,594,000 KRW. Shortly after it sold out, offers appeared on secondhand marketplaces with prices of up to 4 million KRW – some even reached 10 million KRW.

The new stock is being offered at the original price of 3,594,000 KRW, which should lower prices on used platforms. However, this could only be temporary, as the second batch of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is also likely to sell out very quickly.

Incidentally, there is already an unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold. Furthermore, a prototype with four cameras instead of three appeared on the internet.
