vivo T4 Pro with 50 MP periscope camera and 6,500 mAh battery is here
As promised, vivo today unveiled the vivo T4 Pro. It is the sixth model in vivo’s T4 series. Rumors had originally speculated about a renamed vivo V60 after vivo confirmed some specifications of the T4 Pro and revealed its design. However, this is not the case.
Like the vivo V60, the vivo T4 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 5,000 nits peak brightness is also identical, as is the 6,500 mAh Si/C battery with 90W charging support. The smartphone’s design is also similar, while its weight and dimensions are identical to those of the fog gray V60 model. Furthermore, like the V60, the T4 Pro is IP68 and IP69 certified.
Vivo, however, offers the T4 Pro with less storage and color options. The camera system is also different and was not developed jointly with ZEISS, which is why the ZEISS logo is not visible on the camera island on the back of the T4 Pro.
The vivo V60 features a 50 MP selfie camera on the front and a triple camera system on the back, consisting of a combination of a 50 MP primary camera (Sony IMX766), a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens (Sony IMX882, 3x optical), and an 8 MP ultrawide-angle camera.
The vivo T4 Pro, on the other hand, features a 32 MP selfie camera (4K capable) and a triple camera system on the rear consists of a 50 MP primary camera (Sony IMX882), a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens (Sony IMX882, 3x optical), and a 2 MP depth camera. The 10x telephoto stage portrait function is already known from the V60. However, the AI Four Season Portrait and the India-exclusive Wedding vLog features, as well as underwater photography, did not make it to the Pro model.
Other features include reverse charging, bypass charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and wet touch support. The smartphone runs on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 and comes with a four-year operating system upgrade and six-year security update warranty. Unfortunately, there’s no NFC chip on board, but it does have MIL-STD-810H certification, which is missing from the V60.
vivo T4 Pro prices
The vivo T4 Pro is offered in Nitro Blue and Blaze Gold. It is available in three storage options: 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB. The prices are INR 27,999 (€275/$320), INR 29,999 (€295/$340), and INR 31,999 (€315/$365), respectively.
Sales will start in India on August 29th via vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and partner retail stores. The vivo V60 starts at INR 36,999 (€360/$420) in India.
