vivo V60 with 6,500 mAh battery and ZEISS cameras is here
The vivo V60 is here, a mid-range smartphone with a focus on the camera setup. The smartphone made its debut in India with a 50 MP telephoto camera and a large 6,500 mAh battery. It is the successor to the vivo V50, which was introduced in India in February. One of the highlights of the vivo V60 is the ZEISS triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom. It’s the same telephoto camera as in the vivo X200.
The vivo V60 also features a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The smartphone offers an Aura Ring LED flash, an AI four-season portrait feature, and an exclusive Wedding VLog mode in India. On the front is another 50MP selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view.
The 6.77-inch AMOLED display, curved on all four sides, offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, an impressive 5,000 nits peak brightness, and an integrated fingerprint scanner. Even more impressive, however, is the 6,500 mAh battery, which also charges very quickly at 90 watts. According to vivo, this is the thinnest smartphone with such a large battery—and it is 7.53 mm thin and weighs 192 g in the Mist Gray version.
The new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset provides the power, which vivo pairs with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The smartphone also features a vapor chamber cooling system. Other highlights include IP68 and IP69 protection ratings, dual-SIM support, 4K video recording, and AI features based on Google Gemini, among others.
The vivo V60 runs Android 15 and the company’s own Funtouch OS 15 interface out of the box. The smartphone also receives four major Android operating system updates and six years of security patches.

In India, the vivo V60 is sold in Mist Gray, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. Prices start at INR 36,999 (€362/$425) for the 8/128 GB variant. The smartphone is also available with 8/256 GB for INR 38,999 (€381/$445), with 12/256 GB for INR 40,999 (€401/$470), and with 16/512 GB for INR 45,999 (€450/$525). Sales in India begin on August 19.
