Here is the Xiaomi 15 Pro in all three colors
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are expected to be launched at an event in China on October 20. Today, we get our first look at the Xiaomi 15 Pro, thanks to some leaked renders that show the device in three colors – black, white, and silver. A special titanium edition will also be launched.
The rear design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro is very reminiscent of that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro from last year. The main difference is that the LED flash array has now been placed outside the camera island.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is rumored to launch with a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display from TCL. Along with a 2K resolution, the panel also offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi phone will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
On the back are three 50 megapixel main cameras from German optics specialist Leica. The wide-angle camera is based on a 1/1.3 inch sensor with an aperture of f/1.4. There is also an ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50 MP telemacro camera with five times optical zoom and a minimum focus distance of 30 cm. There will be a 32 MP front camera for selfies.
Xiaomi guarantees five major Android version updates for the 15 Pro. There will also be a version with a titanium frame and satellite connectivity, as with the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition. The power supply is provided by a large 6,000 mAh battery with support for wired charging with 90 watts, wireless charging with 80 watts and wireless reverse charging with 10 watts.
In addition, Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface in the new version 2.0 and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors are safe bets. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, on the other hand, is said to have a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera and is said to launch in January.
