OnePlus 15R: Geekbench test and battery capacity revealed
The upcoming OnePlus 15R has surfaced in a new Geekbench test, revealing some key technical specifications. The smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The tested device appeared on Geekbench with the model number CPH2767. The entry shows that it runs Android 16 and has 12 GB of RAM.
The phone scored 2,846 points in the single-core test and 9,775 points in the multi-core test. Considering that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is intended as a budget flagship killer, it has an extremely high level of performance. Qualcomm compares it to the two-year-old top-of-the-line chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
OnePlus 15R Battery Capacity Officially Revealed
Furthermore, the company has confirmed the battery capacity of the OnePlus 15R: It is 7,400 mAh, making it the largest ever sold in a OnePlus smartphone was installed. The recently announced Ace 6T currently holds the record with an 8,300 mAh battery.
The silicon-carbon battery supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging. It is expected to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after four years of use. The anode contains 15% silicon.
The OnePlus 15R is expected to be a rebranded Ace 6T, which was recently unveiled in China. OnePlus has confirmed that the upcoming global variant will have a 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate, reaching 1,800 nits in “High Brightness” mode.
The 15R also supports OnePlus’ Plus Mind and features a dedicated Plus button. It is IP66/68/69/69K certified and includes a custom 2G Wi-Fi chip and a proprietary display chip. OnePlus will introduce the 15R on December 17th alongside the Pad Go 2 and the Watch Lite.
