International launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 is approaching

The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro were introduced and launched in China in October. The question remains whether the Xiaomi tablets will also be available internationally, and the answer seems to be a clear yes – at least for the base model. Because this very Pad 7 appeared in a Geekbench 6.3 test today with an Indian model number, a clear sign that the Pad 7 is on its way to India. And if it will be sold in India, there is no reason not to offer it in other markets as well.

Like its Chinese version, the Indian Xiaomi Pad 7 will also be launched with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. This is one of the fastest mid-range chipsets currently available, thanks in part to its fast Cortex-X4 main core. In the benchmark test, the Pad 7 prototype achieved a single-core score of 1,877 and a multi-core score of 5,106 points. Also on board was 12 GB of RAM and Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface on top.
All of the technical data revealed by the benchmark test are identical to those of the Chinese Xiaomi Pad 7. So you can reasonably hope that the two Xiaomi tablets are identical. If that’s the case, then you can also expect an 11.2-inch LCD display with 2,136 x 3,200 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits on the Indian Pad 7. You can choose between 128 and 256 GB of storage and 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The camera setup includes a 13 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie camera and there is an 8,850 mAh battery with support for 45 watt fast charging via cable.
