Honor Pad 20 Pro with SD 8s Gen 4 and 10,100 mAh battery announced

The Honor Pad 20 premiered in May. As of today, the Pro version with improved specifications is also available. The Honor Pad 20 Pro features a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 10,100 mAh battery, and a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display. The panel offers a 3K resolution (3,000 x 1,872 pixels) with a 165 Hz refresh rate and supports input with the optional Honor Magic Pencil 4s.

Honor also offers a Paperlike Edition, which features an anti-glare display for more intuitive drawing and note-taking. Both versions of the Honor Pad 20 Pro offer a peak brightness of up to 700 nits, as well as eye protection features and global DC dimming. Additionally, the device boasts six speakers with DTS Ultra tuning.

The Honor Pad 20 Pro supports dual-band Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, but does not offer mobile connectivity. It has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which is not expandable.

Honor Pad 20 Pro with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16

The Honor tablet runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, including Honor’s AI suite and a dedicated PC mode with customizable windows. It also features a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The 10,100 mAh battery supports 66W wired charging and allows for up to 12 hours of video playback.

The Honor Magic Pad 20 Pro is available in grey, and Honor has not yet announced pricing. The device is expected to be officially launched in Malaysia on August 24th.
