OnePlus Nord 6: Camera specs confirmed ahead of launch

OnePlus has released new details about its upcoming OnePlus Nord 6, confirming that it is essentially a rebranded Turbo 6, which was unveiled in China in January.


The Nord 6 will be launched in India on April 7th. While some key technical specifications have already been confirmed, the company has now provided further details about the smartphone’s camera equipment.

It will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera from Sony with optical image stabilization (OIS) and support for 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. It will also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 112-degree field of view, while a 32-megapixel front camera will handle selfies.
For comparison: The Nord 5 offered a similar rear camera setup, but featured a higher-resolution 50 MP selfie camera.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and features up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also offers a 165 Hz display, a 9,000 mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging function and is resistant according to IP69K.
The device will be offered in three color variants, with leaks also suggesting a limited Naruto edition that may be presented at a later date.
