Oppo Find X9 / Plus with major upgrades on the way
Oppo is expected to unveil the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro (and possibly a third Plus model) in October. This follows the reported leak of full specs for the base Oppo Find X9 today. However, keep in mind that previous rumors suggested the X9 would have a 6.3-inch display. If true, the specs from this leak do indeed belong to the Find X9 Plus.
Be that as it may, – The Oppo Find X9 / Plus reportedly features a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There’s also an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and the entire package is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
On the back of the Oppo Find X9 / Plus is a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and Samsung’s ISOCELL JN9 sensor. Oppo Lumo imaging and Hasselblad optimizations are already integrated. For selfies, there’s a 50 MP camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 sensor.
Oppo Find X9 / Plus with a very large battery
A 7,025 mAh battery with 80 watts of wired and 50 watts of wireless charging apparently provides the necessary power. The device will launch with Android 16 and Oppo’s ColorOS 16. It will feature Oppo’s Plus button, which was introduced on the Find X8 Pro but was missing from the X8. It also features a new linear vibration motor on the X-axis, stereo speakers, and the upcoming phone is both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistant.
Compared to its predecessor, the Find X9 features a newer chipset, a much larger battery, a higher-resolution selfie camera, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner (as opposed to an optical one), and the Plus button. Overall, this is a pretty significant upgrade.
