The Pixel 10 series is set to be unveiled this month, and as always, there are numerous leaks. High-resolution images of all four models in the series have already surfaced ahead of the launch—the base model, the Pro, the Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Now there are new images of the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, showing the smartphone from all sides.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: New Images

The leaked images show the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL in the color variants Moonstone and Obsidian. The largest Pixel 10 variant looks identical to the non-XL variant and its discontinued predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro XL. On the back is the familiar camera module with three lenses, the flash, and the temperature sensor. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side, which has a glossy finish.

Google’s Pixel 10 series is expected to be based on the new Tensor G5 chipset. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are rumored to have 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch displays, respectively, with higher maximum brightness. Leaks also indicate that the Pro smartphones will use the same camera hardware as the current models.

However, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and the regular Pro have slightly larger batteries compared to current smartphones, with capacities of 4,870 mAh and 5,200 mAh, respectively. In addition, the charging speed is also reportedly increasing slightly.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: New AI Camera Features

Recently, there have been numerous leaks about the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and the other upcoming models, but these mostly only related to the hardware and technical specifications. The prices were also already a topic, but a second new leak now focuses on the software. More specifically, some new AI features in the camera software.

On the one hand, this is the camera coach. As the name suggests, this Gemini uses to support them in real time in improving their photographic skills. For example, it suggests adapting the angle, the lighting and much more. This is done by analyzing the scene and based on what he “sees”, the camera coach analyzes the scene.

In addition, Google is working on interactive photo editing. You can edit photos by simply asking Gemini by linguistic or text instructions to make the desired changes. This includes changing backgrounds, lightening images and removing objects. The idea behind it is of course to help you improve your photos, even if you are not in the topic yourself.

These functions are inserted on the Pixel 10 devices and are available for all four models. You could later be available for pixel drop later. Of course, Google could also make interactive photo editing available for Google photos, regardless of the smartphone used. Such a feature might be bound to a Google Gemini Pro-subscription.

The Pixel 10 series will be unveiled with its new AI camera features at a “Made by Google” event on August 20. The Google Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a will also be on stage.
