Last year, Xiaomi first launched the Redmi Note 14 series, followed shortly thereafter by the really affordable models – the Redmi 14C, 14C 5G, and 14R. The Redmi 15C was already certified with a large battery at the beginning of the month. It looks like there will also be a regular Redmi 15 this year, which just appeared in the first images.

Xiaomi Redmi 15 in three colors

The official-looking images of the Redmi 15 were shared by a tipster on X. A frontal image may show thinner bezels than before compared to the Redmi 13, although this is difficult to determine based on the renders alone. We also have three images showing the Redmi phone in three colors – black, purple, and a gold variant.

The rear design and camera arrangement appear to match the Redmi 15C. However, the images show three cameras instead of just two on the back. The two additional sensors are likely to cover ultra-wide-angle and macro lenses. Last year’s Redmi 13 only had a 108 MP main camera and a 2 MP macro camera.

According to the previous leak, the Redmi 15 will offer significant improvements in the display, battery, chipset, and camera compared to its predecessor.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 SE 5G: First Official Teaser

According to a second leak, the Xiaomi subsidiary has another surprise in store: the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G. This model will launch in India on July 28, as a new Flipkart microsite reveals.

The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G should come onto the market with “super specifications” and a “super price”. The Microsite confirmed a display with 120 Hz refresh frequency, 2,100 cd/m² top brightness, corning gorilla Glass 5 and an integrated fingerprint sensor.

The device’s dual stereo speakers promise a 300 % higher volume, but is unclear in comparison. Dolby Atmos support is also on board. The main camera of the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G dissolves with 50 megapixels and uses Sony’s Lytia Lyt-600 sensor with OIS for reasonable image quality in low light.

The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7025 Ultra-Chipset and has a 5,110 mAh battery. So far, these have been all technical data, but they should be familiar with some readers. The specifications correspond almost exactly to the Redmi Note 14 5G without SE at the end, which came on the market in early January 2025.
