Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is about to launch
Rumor had it that the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 would officially launch at the end of this month. And as it turns out, the rumor was true. Xiaomi began its teaser campaign for the flip phone today and published the image below on its website.
The image shows the packaging with the text “See you this month.” This confirms that the Mix Flip 2 will reach the Chinese market in June.
As with predecessor model, the global market launch is likely to follow later. However, as with the first Flip, it could take a good two months. Unfortunately, Xiaomi itself has not yet revealed any technical specifications for the Mix Flip 2, but according to rumors, it will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is also said to feature a 6.85-inch folding display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5,100 mAh battery with 67-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless charging. On the camera side, a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens are expected. The latter replaces the telephoto lens of its predecessor. The smartphone is also said to be IPX8 certified and therefore waterproof.
