Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 shows itself in high-res images

The cover display of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 is supposed to be a bit larger, but the price remains stable. The chipset, however, is still questionable.

High-resolution renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, which is expected to be launched in July together with the Galaxy Z Fold7, have just appeared online. They show the flip-foldable with a 3.6-inch cover display and a 6.8-inch main display. The Galaxy Z Flip6 came in at 3.4 inches and 6.7 inches.

The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 have also grown a little and are now 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm when unfolded. If you add the camera module, you get a thickness of 9.1 mm. The larger cover display is a plus point compared to its predecessor. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra from June 25, 2024 remains the benchmark here with 4 inches.

Samsung is expected to keep the dual camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide angle on the Galaxy Z Flip7. The camera setup looks the same on paper, but it’s likely to be updated hardware and revised software.

It’s still unclear which processor the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 will get. There have already been reports pointing to Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 chipset. Other rumors suggest that the yield is too low for cost-effective use. 12GB of RAM and either 256 or 512GB of storage, on the other hand, are a safe bet. Android 16 is reportedly already available as the operating system this year.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 price to remain the same

An important aspect of the Galaxy Z Flip7 this year is that Samsung is unlikely to change the recommended retail price of €1,199/$1,099. The last price increase was for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5. However, the Galaxy S25 series also did not see a price increase at the beginning of the year.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 are also expected to get a much more inconspicuous crease in the middle of the display this year. According to the leaks so far, the crease will not really disappear, but it should be much less visible compared to the Galaxy Z Flip6.
