Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro: worldwide rollout started
Oppo unveiled the Find X8 and X8 Pro in China last month. Today, the smartphones officially entered the international stage at an event in Indonesia. Global sales will start on November 23. The phones feature a Dimensity 9400 chipset and very bright displays with a global peak brightness of 1,600 nits.
The Oppo Find X8 series also features a versatile camera system of very high quality. The regular X8 has a 50 MP triple prism telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, while the X8 Pro brings a second periscope lens with 6x zoom.
The Oppo Find X8 costs IDR 13,999,000 for the 12/256 GB option and IDR 15,999,000 for 16/512 GB, which is €839 / $880 and €959 / $1,000 respectively. The price of the Oppo Find X8 Pro is 19,999,000 IDR for 16/512 GB (1,199 € / 1,250 $). Prices may vary in other international markets. For example, Oppo UK only sells the Pro, at a price of £1,049 (1,260 € / 1,325 $). In the rest of the EU, the Chinese manufacturer is asking for 1,149 €.
