Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro: First specs leaked
Xiaomi will soon launch two new tablets, namely the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro. The key specs for both tablets leaked in China today. If you’ve been waiting for a successor to the Pad 6S Pro, however, you’re in for a disappointment. Instead, as the name suggests, the new tablets are set to replace the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, which were unveiled in April 2023.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 is reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and supports 45W wired charging. The Pad 7 Pro, on the other hand, will feature the flagship-killer Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, paired with support for slightly faster 67W wired charging.
Both Xiaomi tablets will apparently use the same 11.16-inch LCD display, which at least runs at a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. The 6S Pro will remain on sale as it will continue to be Xiaomi’s top tablet. It’s unclear when exactly the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will launch, but it could be as soon as the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are announced later this month.
