First Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 picture is here

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is getting ready for its launch and, according to a rumor from May, will be the thinnest foldable on the market. This would take the crown back from the Honor Magic V3, which is launching next week. Today, an official-looking image leaked showing the back of the Mix Fold 4 in a version with synthetic leather. Of course, there could also be other variants with glass backs.

The leak comes from well-known tipster Evan Blass, who noted that the image carried a “work product”-tag. Accordingly, the final design may change a lot before the Xiaomi smartphone comes to market. You can see four main cameras on the back, just like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. However, the camera module is arranged differently.
The source of this leak also confirmed that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will be less than 10 mm thick. In addition, there is a 50 megapixel main camera, protection against water ingress according to the IPX8 standard and a 5,000 mAh battery on board.
According to previous leaks, the main camera will have optical stabilization and a sensor size of 1/1.55 inches. There is also a 60 megapixel 1/2.82 inch 2x telephoto lens based on an OmniVision OV60A sensor, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 10 megapixel periscope telephoto lens with five times optical zoom. One of the latest certifications also revealed 67 watts of fast wired charging.
In addition, there is a persistent rumor that the Mix Fold 4 will start together with the Mix Flip, Xiaomi’s first flip-foldable. The date should be sometime in the third quarter of this year, i.e. between July 1 and September 30. However, there have also been indications of a July launch.
