OnePlus Nord CE4 and OnePlus Ace 3V close to start
OnePlus has announced that the Nord CE4 smartphone will launch in India on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 6:30 pm IST. According to the teasers, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. According to OnePlus, this chip will improve CPU performance by 15%, GPU performance by 50% and power consumption by 20%.
The OnePlus Nord CE4 will be available in two variants. The Dark Chrome version has a glossy gradient finish on the surface. The Celadon Marble version has a light green color with a marbled texture, similar to the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey Edition (also known as Jupiter Rock Edition). Further details, including pricing and availability, will be announced over time.
In addition, the OnePlus Ace 3V is also in the starting blocks, as Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, has revealed. According to Li, the focus is on establishing AI functions in the Chinese company’s mid-range cell phones. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, which will be announced next Monday.
The OnePlus Ace 3V is a cheaper alternative to the Ace 3, known internationally as the OnePlus 12R. The 5,500 mAh battery still charges at 100 watts and the 6.74-inch OLED display keeps the 120 Hz refresh rate. However, the resolution is slightly lower at 1220p. Other features include a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS, a 16 megapixel selfie camera and ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. Internationally, the Ace 3V could launch as the OnePlus Nord 4, which closes the circle. The Ace 2V also came onto the world market as Nord 3.
