Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6: Larger interior and exterior displays
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, which are still more than six months away from launch, will feature larger displays than their predecessors. The information comes from Ross Young, head of Display Supply Chain Consultants. Young said that both Samsung foldables will feature larger cover displays as well as larger folding displays.
As far as the external displays are concerned, this isn’t all that surprising news. There is still a lot of potential here. According to Young, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 will have a 3.9-inch cover display. That would be 0.5 inches larger than the cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip5. Young said that the exact display sizes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 are mentioned in the latest DSCC Foldable report. However, this report is not intended for the public.
According to previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 will have a 50 megapixel main camera. That would be a significant and very welcome upgrade over the Galaxy Z Flip5’s 12-megapixel main camera. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will stick with the same 50 megapixel camera as the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Fold4. Although it took good pictures in our Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 review, it didn’t really correspond to the flagship price tag of 1,799 euros.
