The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series including the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model was launched in China on September 21st. Slowly but surely the leap to Europe and across the pond is imminent. The lineup also includes the Redmi Note 13 Pro with 5G support and one of the fastest mid-range chipsets, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. But apparently Xiaomi also wants to release a version overseas that is limited to LTE connections.

Both devices have now been certified by the NBTC, Thailand’s telecommunications regulator. On the certification you can clearly read two different model names: “Redmi Note 13 Pro” and “Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G”. So we can expect at least two different Xiaomi phones at the international premiere.

The model number of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro with LTE has not yet appeared in the rumor mill. It is therefore still unclear what awaits us here, as the switch to 4G should also mean a new chipset with different performance data. There could also be differences in camera support.

The Chinese Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1220p and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The main camera on the back has a resolution of a whopping 200 megapixels. The 5,100 mAh battery supports 67 watt fast charging. This could mean one of the best mid-range smartphones is close to launch. And in China, it came onto the market for less than $200.
