Apple is currently working on several new iPads, all of which will be officially unveiled in the next few months. In fact, they are all expected to launch with a version of iPadOS 17. This means they will be released before next September, as Apple introduced iPadOS 17 last month and iPadOS 18 is already coming next fall.

This is anything but a concrete schedule, but at least it is clear which models are waiting for an update. First of all, there should be a new Apple iPad mini, which retains the old design but has new technology inside. Second, there will be not one, but two new iPad Air models. One of these will either be a larger Plus or Max model or a more powerful variant. Here too, the design should remain the same as the current iPad Air.

The entry-level iPad already goes into its 11th generation and should also remain with the same design as the current model. And a chipset update is waiting here too, just like the upcoming iPad Pro with the M3 chipset, which will come onto the market in two sizes as usual. There will also be a new Magic Keyboard, which first appeared in rumors last month. Today’s leak now confirms this rumor.

The new keyboard apparently makes the iPad look more like a notebook. The structure is made of aluminum instead of plastic like the current Magic Keyboard. The trackpad will also be larger and have some new sensors, including an accelerometer. The Magic Keyboard is set to be introduced alongside the new iPad Pro tablets.
