Samsung is expanding its Fan Edition range today. In addition to the new Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, the Koreans also introduced two new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets and the first wireless FE earphones called Galaxy Buds FE. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series actually includes two sizes – a 10.9-inch Tab S9 FE and the 12.4-inch Tab S9 FE+, both in Wi-Fi and 5G versions.

The Galaxy tablets have IPS LCD displays with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Samsung’s Vision Booster is also on board for better image quality outdoors and two speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Both Tab S9 FE versions are IP68 certified and come with the S Pen stylus, which is also waterproof and dustproof.

The drive is provided by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 chipset in combination with 6/8 GB of RAM on the Tab S9 FE and 8/12 GB on the FE+ model. Storage is either 128GB or 256GB on both versions and can be expanded via the microSD card slot. In addition to a 12 megapixel ultrawide front camera with a field of view of 120 degrees, there is also an 8 megapixel main camera on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ also has another ultra-wide camera with 8 megapixels on the back. The battery is also larger at 10,000 mAh compared to the 8,000 mAh of the smaller Tab S9 FE. Both support fast charging with up to 45 watts, but you have to provide the appropriate charger yourself.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is available in mint, silver, gray and lavender colors. Prices for the Tab S9 FE start at 529 euros in Europe and $449 in the US, while the Tab S9 FE+ costs 699 euros. The 5G models cost an additional 100 euros. Prices for India are ₹36,999 and ₹46,999 respectively.

The Samsung headphones support the AAC and SBC audio codecs and also offer integrated touch controls. Each earbud has three microphones, two on the outside and another on the inside. Samsung bundles the Galaxy Buds FE with three different sized silicone eartips and two additional wingtips for a better fit.

Battery life is 6 hours with ANC turned on. The charging case delivers another 479 mAh, which is enough for an additional 21 hours of playtime. The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are available in graphite and white.
