Apple Wallet now supports United Airlines boarding passes
United Airlines is the first airline to support Apple Wallet’s enhanced boarding passes in iOS 26, reports 9to5Mac. Apple has added several new features for boarding passes in iOS 26. The features were unveiled at WWDC in June and include Live Activity for tracking flights directly from the lock screen, maps of airport terminals, and “Find My” integration for tracking luggage.
According to the report’s tipster, users must manually enable Live Activity through the Apple Wallet app – it isn’t enabled automatically. Even if a user shares flight status with others, they will see Live Activity, but without information about boarding group and seat.
United joins the growing list of airlines that, according to Apple, plan to roll out the feature. Other airlines include Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, Lufthansa, Qantas, and Virgin Australia.
