Delta Camera: Retro Game Boy Camera launches on iPhone
Riley Testut, known for the Delta Game Emulator and AltStore, has announced the upcoming launch of a new app for the iPhone called Delta Camera. This is a standalone app that mimics the style of the Game Boy Camera.
The Delta Camera’s user interface is modeled after the Game Boy Camera, as are the photos it takes. The images themselves have a retro look. However, the app takes full advantage of modern hardware in terms of camera control, integration of front and rear cameras, manual exposure, and zoom options.
The Game Boy Camera is a Game Boy add-on that first appeared in 1998. It captures grayscale images and supports editing and drawing features.
Testut plans to release the app later this year. However, it is already available to subscribers of the AltStore Patreon.
