Apple Creator Studio is getting new AI features
Apple today updated its Creator Studio apps, adding new AI features to Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and other apps. Apple is also integrating Pixelmator Pro into Final Cut Pro, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages.
Apple Creator Studio Pixelmator Pro
Final Cut Pro users can send individual images to Pixelmator Pro to create thumbnails and graphics for social media. In Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, users can select an image in a document and open it in Pixelmator Pro for editing. The changes are saved in the original document.
The three Office apps support AI-powered vector shape generation, and Pixelmator Pro gains enhanced image generation and a Content Hub. Users can create AI-generated images directly in Pixelmator Pro using natural language and browse a curated image collection in the Content Hub. Freeform is also integrated with Pixelmator Pro in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate.
Apple Creator Studio Final Cut Pro
Final Cut Pro is getting a “Generate Subtitles” feature, an AI-powered function that automatically adds subtitles to videos based on their audio. The subtitles can include animations as well as custom fonts, colors, and positions.
Edit Recognition is a new AI feature that analyzes rendered video and breaks it down into the original clips on the timeline. According to Apple, editors can use the tool for fine-tuning or to create a condensed highlight clip for social media.
Final Cut Pro for Mac features an auto-masking function that isolates and optimizes video elements such as skin, hair, sky, plants, and clothing. Users can hover their mouse cursor over a clip and make precise adjustments without manual tracking. Color matching now provides more accurate and natural color matches under varying lighting conditions, and the enhanced trimming function allows users to fine-tune incoming and outgoing frames individually.
Apple Creator Studio Motion
Motion now offers native support for scaling vector graphics without loss of quality, and Compressor features an immersive metadata viewer for Vision Pro. Final Cut Camera gains enhanced ProRes support, an option to disable digital zoom, and Clean HDMI Out for transmitting an unaltered video signal to external monitors and recorders.
Apple Creator Logic Pro
Logic Pro’s chord recognition feature has been revamped and is now more precise. According to Apple, Session Players react faster and execute chord changes more quickly. Both Logic Pro and MainStage in Alchemy feature a new granular sync mode that opens up “new dimensions of sound design.”
Further information about the updates can be found on the Apple website. Creator Studio Pro includes all of Apple’s creative software and costs €12.99/$12.99 per month or €129/$129 per year. Up to six people can share one membership.
