Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra with top chipset in benchmark test
Poco’s top models from the F series are about to get their next update. The Poco F6 and F6 Pro were launched back in May last year. The refresh could now start with a real bang: Apparently the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra is in the starting blocks. Poco’s first Ultra model was spotted in a Geekbench AI test with the model number 24122RKC7G.
This model number was already confirmed to belong to the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra when it was certified for sale in Indonesia in January. The “G” at the end confirms that it is a global model. The F7 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the benchmark test revealed. The prototype that ran the benchmark had 16GB of RAM, but of course there could be other versions as well. The phone will run Android 15 from day one, with Xiaomi’s HyperOS as the interface.
The Poco F7 Ultra achieved a single precision score of 2,667, a half precision score of 2,645 and a quantized score of 4,866 points. According to previous rumors, it should have a flat 6.67 inch OLED display with a 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra charges with a fast 120 watts
There is an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. There is also up to 1 TB of storage and the 6,000 mAh battery charges via cable with up to 120 watts and wirelessly with 50 watts.
The camera setup of the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra reportedly includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 32MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP 2x zoom camera with OIS, and a 20MP selfie camera. The Poco F7 Ultra has long been rumored to be a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro, which includes the chipset and battery.
