Xiaomi 15 Ultra prototype undergoes Geekbench AI test
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is about to launch this month – rumors say it will be on February 26. There will also be a global release, and rumors say it will most likely have the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under the hood. That’s the current state of the rumor mill, but today there was confirmation of at least the last part.
Because a screenshot from a Geekbench AI test of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has appeared on the Internet, more precisely in the benchmark service’s online database. It revealed the graphics chip, an Adreno 830. And only the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip has an Adreno 830 GPU.
The prototype achieved a score of 635 in single precision, a score of 630 in half precision, and a quantized score of 1,455. The next Ultra ran Android 15 as expected and had a whopping 16GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is said to be equipped with a 1-inch main camera sensor (Sony Lytia LYT-900) and a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto camera. There is also a 50MP Sony IMX858 short zoom and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide angle lens. The AMOLED display has a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Power is provided by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired and 50W fast wireless charging.
