Benchmark testing platform AnTuTu has released its January 2025 performance rankings for Apple iPhones and iPads, revealing some very exciting results. Apple’s range of tablets and smartphones continues to perform at a fairly high level, but currently cannot keep up with the Android competition. Here is the ranking with the details.

The highlight for many users is undoubtedly the Apple iPhone 16 series, launched last year. This series sparked some discussion as Apple continued its trend of equipping the standard and Pro models with different chipsets. Now the numbers are available to definitively answer questions about any performance differences.

Apple iPad Pro 11 (2024) is the fastest Apple device

According to AnTuTu’s December rankings, the Apple iPad Pro 11 (2024) takes the crown as Apple’s fastest device, achieving a very high score of 2,549,548 points. Close behind is the iPad Pro 13 (2024) in second place with 2,521,855 points. These results show the performance of Apple’s current M4 chip combined with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

In addition, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro is the fastest among Apple’s smartphones with a test result of 1,725,101 points. Not far behind is its larger counterpart, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, with 1,715,431 points. Both models feature the A18 Pro chip, currently Apple’s fastest mobile chip.

Interestingly, no other iPhone model made it into the top 10 list for December, which underlines the performance of the iPhone 16 Pro models. At the same time, the performance rankings also confirm how strong the top Android chipsets, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, are now – not a single Apple device would make it into the Android Top 10.
