vivo X200 Pro and Pro Mini: Dimensity 9400 dominates AI benchmark

MediaTek today announced its latest flagship chipset – the Dimensity 9400, complete with its updated Cortex-X925 CPU, Immortalis G925 GPU and new NPU 890. The vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini are expected to be the first devices to launch with the new chip. At least they have already made it into the first AI benchmark tests, and with some success. The two upcoming flagships made it straight to the top of the rankings by a wide margin.

The vivo X200 Pro scored an impressive 10,132 points to take first place, while the X200 Pro Mini comes in second with 10,095 points. Both phones offer a significant jump over the vivo X100 and X100 Pro, which are based on the previous Dimensity 9300 chipset.

The first device on the list with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in a distant 9th place. The Apple iPhone 15 Pro and its Apple A17 Pro chip managed to make it to 11th place in the rankings in the test. The X200 Pro previously set a new AnTuTu record with 3,007,853 points.

In related news, the vivo X200 Mini Pro appeared in several photos and a new hands-on video that give us another glimpse of its design. The smallest member of the X200 series features a flat display that is expected to be 6.31 inches.

The vivo x200 Mini Pro is also said to offer an LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and three 50 MP cameras. These include a Sony LYT-818 main camera, a Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera and an IMX882 periscope camera with three times optical zoom. There have also been rumors of a 5,700 mAh battery that charges via cable at 90 watts and wirelessly at 30 watts. Even the first prices have already appeared.
