vivo X Fold 3 appears in Geekbench test
The vivo X Fold 3 series is expected to launch on March 26 with two devices – a base device and a more powerful X Fold 3 Pro. The entry-level model has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the model number V2303A. In addition to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16 GB of RAM also came to light.
The vivo X Fold 3 managed 2,008 single-core points and 5,490 multi-core points in the benchmark test. Geekbench also confirmed that the foldable runs the latest Android 14, presumably with OriginOS 4 as the interface. Thanks to a Chinese teaser poster, the start date is also known – the premiere in China will take place on March 26th at 7:00 p.m. local time.
The vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro both come with a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display and an 8.03-inch foldable main display. We get ultrasonic fingerprint sensors under both panels, and there is also an IPX8 rating for waterproofing. In addition, a major leak of marketing material last week revealed the dimensions. Accordingly, the two vivo cell phones will be among the thinnest cell phones ever with a thickness of less than 5.1 mm.
Both X Fold 3 models will have a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS. Vivo also installs a 50 megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64 megapixel periscope camera. The X Fold 3 has a 5,500 mAh battery, while the Pro model has a battery capacity of 5,800 mAh.
