Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is coming next week

Samsung will unveil a new member of the Galaxy S26 series next Thursday (August 27) as part of its “Galaxy Event August 2026.” This can only be the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE. The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com and Samsung’s YouTube channel. It starts at 12:00 UTC.

Although the company hasn’t explicitly stated it, it can only be the next Fan Edition. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t released any official details about the new FE.

Yesterday’s major Samsung Galaxy S26 FE leak also included a leaked EPREL label, indicating an A rating for energy efficiency and drop resistance, but only a C for repairability. The battery is rated for 1,200 charge cycles, enabling a battery life of 50 hours (compared to 2,000 cycles and 42 hours and 37 minutes for the Galaxy S25 FE). The smartphone is IP68 dustproof and waterproof.

The biggest upgrade of the new generation is likely to be the Exynos 2500 chipset, which has already been virtually confirmed by the Google Play Console. Further unofficial details can be found in this leak, which also includes a short video of the Galaxy S26 FE.
All the details will be available no later than next Thursday, August 27th, in Samsung’s livestream.
