Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: New leak reveals all technical specifications

There have already been several major leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE – and here’s the latest. As before, the differences to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, are unfortunately very subtle.

Instead of using the Exynos 2400 for a third time, the new FE model will at least be equipped with the newer Exynos 2500. The chip is manufactured using Samsung’s 3nm Gate All-Around (GAA) process and features a 10-core CPU (1+7+2) and an Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 3 technology.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: Only 8 GB RAM, yet more expensive
The chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Despite this, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will not escape a price increase – the 128 GB model is expected to cost €800. That’s €50 more than the S25 FE in the same configuration, which cost €750 at launch.

The new model will have the same dimensions – it will be 7.4 mm thick and weigh 193 g (3 g more than its predecessor). The smartphone will be dustproof and waterproof according to IP68.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE also features the same 4,900 mAh battery capacity. As expected, the battery continues to support 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. There are rumors that it might be a silicon carbide (Si/C) battery. Regardless, the EPREL rating for charge cycles drops from 2,000 for the S25 FE to 1,200. A similar phenomenon was observed with the Galaxy Z8 series. However, the new chipset could extend battery life – according to the manufacturer, the smartphone lasts 50 hours on a single charge, compared to 42 hours and 37 minutes for its predecessor.
The front features a 6.7-inch Samsung Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Typical brightness is 1,200 nits, reaching up to 1,900 nits in high-brightness mode. The front camera has a 12-megapixel sensor and a fixed focal length lens (f/2.2).
The 50MP main camera (f/1.8) and the 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom (f/2.4) continue to use the same sensors as before. However, the ultrawide camera of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE receives a new 12MP sensor (replacing the old 12MP sensor). A more notable new feature is 8K video recording at 30 frames per second for the main camera – the S25 FE offered a maximum of 4K at 60 frames per second.
Other noteworthy specifications include a dual-SIM slot without a microSD slot, one or two eSIM modules, Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. What’s still missing is the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE. However, the S25 FE was unveiled in September, so the launch shouldn’t be too far off.
