Xiaomi 18: Base model is also expected to have two 200MP cameras
Xiaomi unveiled its 18 Pro series in China last week, but unlike last year, the standard Xiaomi 18 model was not part of the presentation. Rumors suggest the base version will be released separately in December, and an insider has now revealed its full technical specifications.
According to leaker Panda is Bald on Weibo, the standard model of the Xiaomi 18 will also have a dual 200 MP camera on the back, similar to the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max.
Rumors suggest the smartphone will feature a 1/1.28-inch 200-megapixel main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The tipster also claims the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.
Xiaomi 18 with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset
The Xiaomi smartphone is also rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset and feature a 6.4-inch M11 display with 1.5K resolution. It is also rumored to have a 7,200 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.
The informant has reiterated that Xiaomi will launch the smartphone in December. It is reportedly a global launch.
