Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide spotted in the wild
Samsung is expected to unveil its next foldable smartphones in July. According to recent leaks, the rumored wide-screen Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide could be renamed the Z Fold8, while the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 might be released as the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Even before the official announcement, images of the wide-screen foldable smartphone have already been spotted in the wild.
Images of the alleged Z Fold Wide were shared by a user of the South Korean community forum DC Inside. The device appears to be encased in a sealed protective case that obscures most of the design details. However, the phone’s significantly wider form factor is clearly visible, as is the apparent dual-camera setup on the back.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide with 7.6-inch display
Leaked renderings suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide will feature a 7.6-inch inner display with a minimal crease similar to that of the Oppo Find N6. It also appears to have a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens.
The Galaxy foldable is also expected to have a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 45-watt fast charging and weigh around 200 g.
