Oppo ColorOS 16 May 2026 update with AI Mind Pilot and Live Space update is here

Oppo has announced the release of the ColorOS 16 update for May 2026 for the Find and Reno series smartphones.


The highlight of the ColorOS 16 update is Live Space, which is now fluid and intuitive to use, offering an immersive, responsive and refined lock screen experience with smooth animations, while capsule-style notifications display real-time updates through a clean and distraction-free user interface.


The ColorOS 16 update also brings an updated O+ Connect, which now enables seamless cross-platform file transfer and connectivity between Oppo and Apple devices.
AI-powered organizational and creative functions
In addition, the ColorOS 16 update offers a range of AI-powered organizational and creative features, including AI Mind Pilot, AI Grouping, AI Menu Translation, AI Popout and AI Scan.




But that’s not all. The ColorOS update for May 2026, also improves live translation, adds an AI-powered recording sticker, and expands the app cloner, allowing up to three clones of supported apps to run simultaneously.
ColorOS 16 Update Changelog
- Adds seamless animations when switching between apps such as News, Weather, and Calendar to make app switching smoother.
- Enables swiping up or down to scroll through stacked AI Suggest widgets while editing. Adapts the visual design and interactions to the home screen widgets for a more consistent user experience.
- Adds AI-powered summaries for live translation, which automatically generate titles and summaries for translated conversations.
- Improves live translation through context sensitivity for more accurate real-time interpreting. Adds “AI Recording Stickers” that allow users to set text and image markers during audio recording or playback to capture important moments.
- Supports extensive visual summaries, allowing you to create summaries including images, tables, flowcharts and diagrams for greater clarity (supported markets: Belarus, Russia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia).
- Improves the “App Cloner” to run up to three clones of supported apps simultaneously, making it easier to switch between work, everyday use, and entertainment. Adds the “LUMO” watermark to optimize image branding.
- Improves summaries of audio recordings by combining text and image annotations to highlight important information even more clearly.
- Enables finding apps by color in “Drawer” mode (app overview). Revamps the “Eye Comfort” settings page with a cleaner layout and simpler controls.
